NPR News tells about “Evangelical Leaders Condemn ‘Radicalized Christian Nationalism’“. After the events of January 6th, many leaders do now want Christianity associated with it. Some of the rioters carried “Jesus Saves” signs or Christian Symbols. Some Christian leaders do not agree with the actions taken.
In an open letter to other Christian leaders, about 100 evangelical leaders call for other leaders to condemn the actions of radicalized Christianity. They do not support the actions of the rioters and disagree with the association of Christianity to it. The actions of a few should not condemn the belief of many.
