ABC tells about what happened to a lawyer that offered advice in “Nashville attorney’s license suspended after posting advice on getting away with murder“. Attorney Sitton offered advice on a Facebook post to a friend who had just broken up with her baby’s father. He advice included information on how to get away with murder by making it look like self-defense.
When the baby’s father found out about the posts he took screenshots to the courts. They passed it on to the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. Sitton protests. He says he meant his advice to be caustic and cynical, not actual lawyer advice. Still, the board gave Sitton four years suspension.
