CBS News tells about “11-year-old boy hands out flowers to grocery store workers after Colorado shooting“. The Boulder, Colorado shooting really scared some people, including 11-year-old JJ Witmer. Instead of hiding, he decided to try and help others. With his mom, Witmer took flowers and handed them out to grocery workers.
He wanted to cheer them up and he did. Witmer admitted his nervousness about handing out the flowers for the first few. Yet, he felt happy when most of the people reacted with hugs, fist bumps, and even tears. His kind act after such a negative act really helped show the good in people. Let us all follow this young boy’s example and help where possible.
