For Easter week, we will continue to discuss what Christ did in the last week of his life. On Monday he took the time to clean the temple of all merchants. He wanted the temple for prayer and learning as originally attended. After this cleansing, Christ started teaching his final lessons in his mortal life.
If you knew that you had one week before death, what would you do? Christ continued to think of others and taught a few more lessons. As this was his last week, these lessons must contain his most important messages. He taught the two great commandments. First to love God with all and second, to love your neighbor as yourself. Christ also emphasized service to others. Knowing this teaching may be one of his last should show the importance of loving one another.
