NBC tells the story of how the “Easter Bunny takes divers on underwater egg hunt“. In an effort to raise money for charity, a scuba diving company in Florida offered a special Easter egg hunt. This hunt would require scuba diving gear to go underwater.
In Florida, a scuba diving captain dressed as the Easter Bunny and went to hide eggs by a coral reef. Then a group of divers entered for the underwater Easter egg hunt. Not wanting to hurt the environment, this hunt was more traditional. They used natural eggs with non-toxic dye. I could imagine originally Easter egg hunt did that too, instead of the more common plastic eggs. I’ll bet this was a fun time to see the wonders of the sea and celebrate Easter.
