Happy 90th Birthday, Nancy Drew! CBS informs us of this wonderful event in “Nancy Drew turns 90“. Thousands have read and loved the series. Carolyn Keene has written over 600 books, with movies, video games, and tv shows. Millions of girls and boys have loved following the adventures of this intrepid detective.
If you didn’t already know, Carolyn Keene does not actually exist. Edward Stratemeyer created the series in 1930. Unfortunately, he did just after the publication of the first book. That did not stop the series. Other authors have taken up the mantle of Carolyn Keene to keep the beloved character alive. Personally, I am grateful for their dedication as I also love the series. I wish this series another 90 years of amazing books.
